DMCA Policy

Good to know: the process below follows the usual DMCA notice-and-takedown steps. It has not been tailored by a lawyer to any one country, so have it reviewed independently and register a designated agent.
America IPTV serves viewers across the United States, where the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) sets out a clear process for copyright complaints. We follow that process, and this page lays out how it works here.
Why the DMCA applies here
The DMCA is a U.S. federal law. Because America IPTV is aimed at American viewers, we treat it as the primary framework for copyright complaints and follow its notice, counter-notice, and repeat-infringer provisions.
Writing your notice
To let us act quickly, please make sure your notice covers each of these points — they are the elements the DMCA itself requires:
- Who you are: your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email
- The work: a description of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if several works are involved
- The material: exactly where the allegedly infringing material appears, so we can find it without guesswork
- Good faith: a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
- Accuracy: a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner
- Signature: a physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is acceptable)
How to reach our copyright contact
The fastest route is our contact form. Start your message with "DMCA Takedown" and include the full notice in it, so nothing is missed.
Our response
Once a complete notice arrives, we acknowledge it, check that it meets the statutory requirements, and act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified. If we need clarification, we will reply to the email address you provided.
Disputing a removal
Think something was taken down in error? You can file a counter-notice. Include your signature, a description of what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, and phone number together with your consent to the appropriate federal court's jurisdiction and to accept service from the original complainant.
We pass the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not file suit within 10 business days, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving your counter-notice.
Please don't send false claims
Section 512(f) of the DMCA makes people who knowingly misrepresent infringement (or mistaken removal) liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Fair use and licensed use are not infringement, so please consider them before filing.
Repeat infringement policy
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices may be suspended or terminated, in line with our Terms of Use.
Updates
This policy may change as the law or our service changes; check the date at the top of the page for the most recent version.
